Curious, the one I bought about 6 months ago goes to 12v. If that one does just go to 7v and not a misprint then it is not ok. 6.5v is a pretty unusual supply voltage so I would be tempted to say it is a misprint, possibly worth asking to see one if you pass an Argos.
