Newbie, Just wanted to share my experiences and ask a question. I was looking for a way to stream the music from my computer to my home theater system and to the the 3 sets of speakers in various rooms of my house that are powered by zone 2 of the HT system. I ran across a great review of the SB3 at Goodsound.com and decided to give it a shot. My Parasound C2 controller does not send digital input to zone 2 so I hooked up both the digital and analog outputs of the SB3 to the C2. Setup was very easy and straight forward.I am very pleased with the sound of both outputs. I am in the process of reripping my 500 CDs to Apple lossless format. My question is about the power supply. I see I can get an upgraded PS and have it moded for a total of $140, would this be worth it? Parasound C2, A51, Triad Gold In-wall speakers w/Triad Silver 15 sub. Zone2 - Amp - Adcom GFA 2535 driving 3 sets of Niles inwalls.
