I've had one of the Tascam HD-P2s for almost 8-months and LOVE IT! Media is getting cheaper all the time, too. I've got 4-2GB cards and a 4GB card. Each 2GB card can do almost 2-hours at 44.1kHz/24-bit. It'll take digital in (S/PDIF) and lock to external wordclock or video sync as well as chase incoming timecode.
