I've used some JJ's (former Teslas) on mine and didn't like the sound. A little congested. Perhaps they needed further break-in.
The Amperex JAN 7308s were great but one of them was noisy so I returned them to Kevin Deal. I'm getting a pair of very expensive Siemens CCa's instead.
