After using the stock power supply cord for the SB3 with ferrite chokers for 1 month; I recently switched to the Welborne supply with the removable cord option. I promptly switched the supplied cord to an LAT International AC2 cord. I noted radio transmissions/noise into my Rega P3/Dynavector 10x5, Cambridge 640P vinyl combo.
After monkeying around with ferrite chokes on both power supplies and interconnects (repositioning cables not practical in my set up); I inserted the supplied power cord into the power supply and my phono noise dissappeared. Sometimes it pays not to monkey around with tweaks such as aftermarket cables. However, the urge to tweak is still persisting in me.
