A cheater plug may be a diagnostic tool, but shouldn't be left that way as the ground pin is there for a reason. Things with an IEC connector or third prong may not have a double insulated enclosure. I'm almost surprised PS Audio never got sued because/if a removable ground pin caused a fire/electrocution. Mark, perhaps the sub is where the noise comes from because that's what plays the 50-60Hz signal, but the cause is something like a cableTV box or non-audio component? -- Skunk ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Skunk's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2685 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=34279 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list audiophiles@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
