I have used Helium music manager for managing my music database: Not sure it covers FLAC, but it should. It has to be bought, but it is quite a remarkable product (for automation purposes). as far as ripping is concerned: can one not rent out a serial cd ripper ,so as to mechanize the procedure to the max?
