hi, I though I might ask some of you who already upgraded.
My biggest complain when it comes to the built in DAC in SB is sound if cimbals and kick drum when massaged with brushes. There's lot of that kind of activity in slow jazz, female vocals (Diana Krall) e.t.c. To me (and to my wife to even greater degree) that sounds more like an annoying static than like brushed kick drum. Combined with slowely kicked cimbal at the same time, it becomes rather unlistenable digital noise. Did anybody have a chance to compare that to the output of some of DACs out there? thks -- slimkid The sound stage will open up, bass will tighten and the imaging will improve.
