Eh, which amp did you use with Senn 650 ? I had the Stax Signature II system, srm-006t and SR-404, and I just sold it, and bought Senn 580 Precision. These Stax where of course world class in resolution, but, they were very bright ! Looking at a frequency curve you will see why, at Headroom you can compare. The sound was very revealing, bright, detailed, the bass was perfect, but not there in huge amounts. Anyway, if you are comfy with earspeakers you cant go wrong with the Stax.....
