If you want to get technical, almost all DAC's use an oversampling digital filter before feeding the actual converter... It's also a good idea not to get too hung up on reading (and guessing) what technology should sound better. At the end of the day, it's what you hear that makes the real difference. Get out there and listen to whatever products you can!
