Yep, I use one. What would you like to know? Some immediate thoughts that might pre-empt your questions: - Mine is connect between my SB+ and DAC, thus totally in the digital domain. It can take analogue inputs and has analogue outputs - As purely a DAC, it's no great shakes, though I've heard a modded one (from Audiosmiles), which improved it a lot and IMO put it on par with a Benchmark DAC1 and sounded similarly dry. - If you buy the mic that goes with it, it's very useful for identifying the peaks and troughs that you might have in your room. - I tried the auto-equalisation and it certainly does work, resulting in a completely flat response. Unfortunately it also made a bit of a mess of the music, so I can't recommend that mode. - I DO use a manual override, aimed at quelling just one specific room node at 60hz. The impact from a single manual override is very small, but the benefits of getting rid of that "peak" are definitely well worth the effort.
Hope that helps. -- Mr_Sukebe SB+, Behringer 2496DEQ, Bel Canto DAC2, Bel Canto Evo2i, Impulse Ta'us, Coherent cables, Stillpoints ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mr_Sukebe's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10609 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=36397 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list audiophiles@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
