Well, at this point I'm not certain that an XLR->RCA cable will offer any real advantages over my current RCA->RCA cable. (My cable run from the Transporter is just three feet). The adapters look like an interesting option. I have noticed a lot of off-the-shelf XLR->RCA cables, but no mention on how they deal with the impedance.
