Woo-hoo! Thank Hugh. That did it. I had to crank the Gain down to -19dB, but that cleaned it up fine. I guess my description of what I was hearing was pretty bad! :-) The one remaining question, though, is why does Inguz allow any processing at all to happen even if EQ is set to None? Recall that I actually had to deselect it from File Types in order to eliminate this problem originally.
