I hope it's through a headphone amp, or if not I hope they are better matched with the SB3 output than my Grado RS-1s are... I have been listening to them for a long time through the headphone output jack of the Accuphase 306v amp in the house, and know how they can sound - and out of the SB3 they sounded terminally flat.
