Hi Askchan, no this reclocking circuit will not work with a 2706 USB Dac as spec'd here. The 2706-based dac can be improved by using a linear power supply using a Panasonic AN8005 regulator to power the 2706 chip and an AN8035 to power a quality 12MHz crystal that replaces the one used by the 2706 chip. The 2706 can output i2s if your dac accepts i2s input. These would be good upgrades if your current implementation lacks these characteristics.
