The Tivoli stuff is nice, but you're missing the part of the original post: the active loudspeakers (audioengine A2's). What GVH is really looking for is a preamp/FM tuner.
I can't suggest one of those, but if you don't mind changing from an active to as passive speaker, what you're looking for is very similar to one of my setups, an SB3 with a Linn Classik. It's a very good sounding little combo.
