Makes me glad that my S.O. is geek enough to think proper testing is a good idea. We spent some time the other day doing A/B tests for some new speakers. It was not a DBT because we could tell which pair was active. We did take turns flipping tracks and speaker sets for each other. It was partially blind because she did not know the price tag on any of the speakers until after we agreed on the pair we liked the sound of.
