It's a SqueezeCenter plugin that allows the Squeezebox Classic / Transporter to send other devices some infra-red codes, using a IR emitter connected to the headphone (Classic) or IR jack (Transporter).
I use it so that my Classic can power my amp on/off when I switch it on/off.
