Thanks for the responses. I am aware of the concerns listed in the Wiki (primarily having no volume control in case of failure) but I guess my primary concern was from an audiophile perspective. I have read that a big problem with passive setups is that many sources aren't up to the task of driving power amps directly. Whatever that means! I'm wondering how capable the SB3 is as a source to drive the Bedini directly without any active amp stage to help it along?
