I doubt it. I find the CD layers on all my SACD's to be very good compared to the standard CD. I'll try the Cue sheet idea. I think Audacity can split with the Cue Sheet too. Most of the work was the splitting. Recording is a piece of cake, just slow (records at 1x of course). One problem though was I had to do it in two parts (for "The Who" album anyway) because Wavelab Lite hit a 2 Gig limit. Most albums are not that long. It's also a little tricky getting it to start exactly at the right time. If it's off by just a second the Cue Sheet would be messed up. A lot of tools won't support the 24/88.2 2 gig wave. It can't do in memory it has to know how to stream things properly which Audacity does wonderfully. It's a shame they can't relase Audacity with ASIO. I may build it myself but it's a full day project. -- mswlogo XP > Cat5 > Transporter > SPDIF > Meridian G68 > DSP6000, DSP5500HC, DSP5000 XP > Cat5 > SB3 > SPDIF > Meridian DSP5000 XP > Cat5 > SB3 > SPDIF > Meridian G91 > DSP5000 'My Transporter Setup' (http://forums.slimdevices.com/showpost.php?p=350741&postcount=45) 'Hitch Hikers Guide to Meridian' (http://www.meridianunplugged.com) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mswlogo's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9090 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=55729
