I doubt it. I find the CD layers on all my SACD's to be very good
compared to the standard CD.

I'll try the Cue sheet idea. I think Audacity can split with the Cue
Sheet too. Most of the work was the splitting. Recording is a piece of
cake, just slow (records at 1x of course).

One problem though was I had to do it in two parts (for "The Who" album
anyway) because Wavelab Lite hit a 2 Gig limit. Most albums are not that
long. It's also a little tricky getting it to start exactly at the right
time. If it's off by just a second the Cue Sheet would be messed up.

A lot of tools won't support the 24/88.2 2 gig wave. It can't do in
memory it has to know how to stream things properly which Audacity does
wonderfully. It's a shame they can't relase Audacity with ASIO. I may
build it myself but it's a full day project.
