These are similar how Meridian speakers are setup. However they are missing a means of controlling the gain on the preamp with in them. You'll have to use digital attenuation which is not good on the digial inputs.
And I suspect the analog inputs may have A to D converters on them. With Meridian speakers there is seperate control cable to control them and a display with IR input on the front to know what volume you are at etc. and to control them with a remote. If you want digital speakers, check out used Meridian's. Even used prices might seem high but they are worth every penny. I used to have N803's with Krell amps and even Meridian's DSP5000 sound so much better with no huge hot amps and cables all over the place. -- mswlogo XP > Cat5 > Transporter > SPDIF > Meridian G68 > DSP6000, DSP5500HC, DSP5000 XP > Cat5 > SB3 > SPDIF > Meridian DSP5000 XP > Cat5 > SB3 > SPDIF > Meridian G91 > DSP5000 'My Transporter Setup' (http://forums.slimdevices.com/showpost.php?p=350741&postcount=45) 'Hitch Hikers Guide to Meridian' (http://www.meridianunplugged.com) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mswlogo's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9090 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=55974 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list audiophiles@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
