Scott Adams (dilbert) wrote a short story called God's Debris. 
..interesting ideas, one with regards to continuity of reality, quantum
bits and states.  The second sentence of the introduction claims it
contains no humor, but I found this funny:
"The solution is that each of the infinite slices of time are
infinitely small, so the math works out.  You can have continuous time
without a minute lasting an eternity."

Pulished as a free e-book download & excellent for killing an hour or
two.
