I'm in Canada, which means I'm on ExpressVu, which essentially uses Dish Network gear, but pointing at different satellites.... With that caveat, I can tell you that it plays perfectly through my Transporter. As Sean has stated, you have to go into the configuration menus on your receiver, and set to PCM only, to convert any broadcasts that are in Dolby Digital, but other than that, it's plug and play...
