The SOX and FLAC process needed to transcode 24/96 flac to 24/48 flac
is CPU intensive so 192kHZ must be even more so.

Regarding your NAS can it run SOX ? (is there an sox exe for that
processor)
Does it have the cpu/memory for it ? a benchmark would be my own small
1,2gHZ 1GB mini-itx it runs ca 70% CPU on >7.3.3 90% with 7.3.2 when
transcoding 24/96 to 24/48
