"too much" == -10db In both excellent reviews by John Atkinson and Steven Stone, the volume is set to 100%, Atkinson used pre-amp, I think, while Stone used gain on the amplifier (the same way I do). The problem that in my case this is not very convenient..
Anyway, you see I am moving from one subject to another.. I have Transporter for about half a year and overall very happy. While most of my collection is hi-rez, SOME CDs I think sound a bit analytical and life-less.
