In addition to auto-sensing the amplifier will also have to be powerful enough to drive your speakers, and be within your budget. Three inexpensive options are the Audiosource Amp100, Audiosource Amp200, and the Parasound Zamp v3. I have the Audiosource Amp100 driving two pairs of Polk Audio in-ceiling speakers in my kitchen and I'm happy with it. But it's far from an audiophile system or audiophile environment.
