Well the price is the price; Linn long ago gave up on those with reasonable budgets! But the user experience is fine in that I just use iPeng or the SB3 remote. That it is not a SB is invisible, except that it is (very) slightly less stable. If you find iPeng, SBC or whatever acceptable as a control mechanism, you're fine with a DS.
