Hi all! I have a question about high quality tracks on the Transporter.
Recently I downloaded some demo tracks from the Studio Masters from the Linn HiFi website. My example track for this thread has 24bit / 96kHz which has 3108kbit/s in result. Somewhere else is the forum I read that SbS can do the FLAC>PCM conversion instead of the Transporter which should be slightly better than if the Transporter would do the FLAC>PCM conversion. Now I discovered that if I let SbS do the conversion (SbS setting FLAC - PCM) only 1411kb/s instead of the 3108kb/s are streamed to TP. If I let TP do the conversion (SbS setting FLAC - native) I have 3108kb/s streamed to TP. Is this correct? And which setting is best for such high quality tracks?
