my impression of the slow filter - a bit more mids. Less harshness in the highs. More noticeable going from sharp to slow, than slow to sharp. Kind of fun because you can really A/B it! The ribbons in my Maggies will make your ears bleed if you feed them crap. Magnepan sends "attenuators" for the tweeters to try to make their speakers more "user friendly" for the average crappy stereo. No attenuators used here - its all there.
