Rush's comeback album "Vapor Trails" is unlistenable. The music probably isn't as good as old Rush albums, but this recording doesn't even give you a chance to find out. Sounds like the person responsible for mixing it turned everything to 11 all the time.
And if I recall correctly, their next album "Snakes & Arrows" was pretty much the same.
