Good point. And I do agree with you. I was mostly referring to the
problem when someone fancies him/herself an expert, sort of like
'beware the man of one book' who, after reading the "Such-and-such for
Idiots" all of a sudden turns into a self-proclaimed, self-appointed
guru. What typically happens then is that such 'expert' starts
proselytizing his newly won 'knowledge'. It's a slippery slope, and
there's plenty of do-gooders walking around nowadays, teaching us how
to raise our children, how to order caffe latte, how to put the condom
on, and many other useless crap.

I say live and let live.
