I am doing this on the fly, so following these instructions:

On the Touch side (right) you switch from default directory "/root" (
this is where you end up after logging in to the Touch) one layer up -
to the "/" directory. Just double-click on the single folder icon
you'll see on the right side to go one level up.

Then I can see files 'bin - linuxr' I then dropped touchtool box 2.0 at
the bottom of the files, this then positions itself above 'linuxr'

CTRL-T

/$ tar xvf touchtoolbox2.0.tar
./usr/
./usr/bin/
./usr/bin/ttout
./usr/bin/ttinit
./usr/bin/tt
./usr/bin/ttbuffer
./usr/bin/ttstat
./usr/bin/ttkernel
./usr/bin/ttscreen
./etc/
./etc/init.d/
./etc/init.d/rcS.local.tt
./etc/motd.tt

'looks like it has worked' :-)

now

ttinit

It has had a couple of try's finding the squeezebox connection,
soundcheck's SB Touch Toolbox 2.00: Initialization!!

my PC must have needed the night off.
