I'm in break-in mode with these. The 18w8531 woofers are astonishing for their size. "Dense Air" (Eno - Drums Between the Bells) shows that a sub-woofer is optional. The Air Circ 6600 tweeter is a definite step up from the d2608 in my last build. The cabinet weighs 58 lbs without the drivers, crossovers, and other hardware. At this point, I am not very interested in trying to get this guy on a scale.. P -- pski real stereo doesn't just wake the neighbors, it -enrages- them..
