Thank you for your post, Klaus. I agree with you - in general, this is all very subjective and system-dependent. I've only described my experience in my system. The price of HiFace is in the range of the price of Squeezebox Touch and I think it is worth trying out, especially by people who are not fully satisfied with the Touch (the case like me). On the other side, this is really amazing what you can achieve with the Touch's mods. I have tried both your Toolbox 2.0 and then 3.0 and heard the differences. Never tried any HW mods though.. At the moment I am satisfied with Hiface so I will stop here, at least for the time being:) Keep up the good work you do.
