It is not it is 24/48 , however if server is up to it 24/192 will be transcoded to 24/48 so you can keep enjoying the music . You could get a Touch for the more critical listening locations it does 24/96 , it has better spdiff implementation than reciever . If you hear any real difference it is more likely to be due to this not the 48/96 diff. So in some cases Touch can be better on all material including 16/44.1 ( well it is technically better, but if it is audible is an implementation thing in those rare cases ) However Triode is finalising a very nice third party app that gives Touch 24/192 and USB if needed, for people with async USB DAC's and 192k spdiff if one does not want( can't) run transcoding on the server . ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mnyb's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4143 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=94871 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list audiophiles@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
