Is not the whole topic a bit sidetracked , there is not much of a mechanism by with properly designer USB cables could affekt the sound anyway ,so why not worry about abx testing artefacts for another case . The product outputs the same signal regardless off cable so worry about listening for differences when there is one .
Besides the arguments against blinded testing always neglects the very real problem blind testing mostly solves ,that human biases are magnitudes more problematic . The arguments are a bit like how creationist reasons , they already made up their mind rigth beforehand . And desperately tries to contort cherry picked "evidence" to fit thier case . Simply blind testing can not be rigth otherwise most of the wisdom presented in audiophiledom is hogwash ;) And a bit of personal pride can be involved . I too believed in much of this nonsense .
