I've got a fairly vanilla setup - LMS running on a Synology NAS, Musical Fidelity analogue amp, B&W analogue speakers. I went from cable skeptic, to believer, back to skeptic (and have some of the cables still...). I think that the biggest gains to be had in our digital, streaming world are in the speaker and room correction, but am not clear if there is a benefit in having the RC in the speaker vs handled externally by something like the 'Lyngdorf TDAI-2170' (http://www.lyngdorf.com/products//tdai-2170) where the RC is handled in the digital amp and then can be output to digital speakers. Does anyone here have experience/recommendations of either approach? Meridian used to be my aspirational setup, as they've been doing most of this stuff for years (as Mnyb has said).
