I am in the process of revising my internal audit policies and procedures. Is anyone out there aware of a template that shows the major areas that should be covered in such a manual? Here's what I currently have:

Section 4 Internal Audit Department Structure
Section 5 Internal Audit Scheduling Procedures
Section 6 Types of Audits
Section 7 Procedures for Internal Audits
Section 8 Internal Audit Workpaper Policy
Section 9 Internal Audit Reporting Policy
Section 10 Internal Audit Training and Education Procedures
Consulting engagements is an area I will be expanding/including with the revised procedures.
