I don't think older version is not a problem for your problem, since vdir.c is not changed for a long time. But the older version have another bugs. "relatime" mount options, is that a problem? At least, no alloc error is a good news. I will re-consider the vdir algorithm. It may take time. Thank you for your report and tests J. R.
