Hmm, in my test environment, fsck after umount never fail. Even if you execute sync(8) and specify "sync,dirsync" mount options, fsck failed. Right. Weird. Anyway, setting /etc/default/auplink seems to solve your problem. Then I'd forget this problem (and aufs1), if you don't mind. Thanx J. R.
