I am afraid you are still misunderstanding aubrsync.
As I wrote, the script is for aufs with two branches basically. Since
you have three branches, you need to operate rsync(1) via aubrsync script.
You are repeating "Please double check", but it doesn't mean "check
aubrsync or aufs". It is just equivalent to "Please double check my
rsync usage". It is outside of aubrsync script.

Here I'd suggest you another approach.

mount -t aufs -o br:rw:ro_mid=ro+wh:ro_bot none u
mount -t aufs -o br:ro_mid:ro_bot none u2
aubrsync move u rw u2
umount u2

If you want shwh, inotify, or move_with_wh, then read the aufs manual
first. Also I expect you would understand the aubrsync script well if
you read it carefully, and you can find the solution by yourself.
