Lots of lenses maintain a list of fields per kind already. It's actually a
good thing because it does a bit of typechecking on values that are put,
and prevents users from putting a list for fields that do not support it.
It is true that it forces you to keep the list of fields up-to-date as the
software evolves, but that also is not a bad thing if it ensures the lens
is reviewed on a regular basis.
