The following patch allows augeas to "see" some files that are present
on Fedora/RH (rhn files) and SUSE systems.
I've since removed some of the RHN files under /etc/sysconfig/rhn from
the Shellvars lens as many of them are in different formats (variations
on key=value, INI and XML) so were causing parse errors. The up2date
config has now been given its own lens by Raphaël.
Let me know if you have any issues with this commit:
http://git.fedorahosted.org/git/?p=augeas.git;a=commitdiff;h=f1696990
If you'd like to access some of those files in particular, we can can
sort out lenses specifically for them.
Cheers,
Also, a more deep review from one of our engineers shows that the
following files are still missing:
-apcupsd
-arpd
-atftpd
-automatic_online_update
-debugfs
-libvirt-guests
-mcelog
-oracle
-pciback
-puppetmasterd
-racoon
-snapper
-tomcat6
-xencommons
-xsp2
From there, I know snapper is specific to SUSE (but I expect it will be
adopted to other distros as well). I don't have the time right now to
provide another patch, but some of these files may affect Fedora/RH
systems too.
