Sorry for bothering you. It seems this is fixed in trunk by the following
commit:
https://github.com/lutter/augeas/commit/6ffc07ef9717a8878d554a24997d0d89ed42148c
It is just not there in version 10.0 :(. It seems like a testcase is not
needed as there is one in the mentioned commit.
