Hello David, Apologies for the misunderstanding, but I did try to contact you before filing my orphan request. I wrote the following message to the address you've configured in your AUR profile:
""" Subject: mongosh AUR package maintenance To: [email protected] <[email protected]> From: Diego <[email protected]> Date: Thu, 26 Mar 2026 20:56:45 +0000 Greetings, I've noticed that your mongosh package on the AUR has been out of date for a couple of months now, and it has been flagged as such for two weeks. Therefore, I'm writing this email in hopes that I may be able to reach you and bring this issue to your attention. Would you like some help bringing it up to date? I wouldn't mind co-maintaining if need be. You can also disown the package in case you are no longer invested in it. Hope I was of help! Kind regards, Diego Fernández """ Unfortunately, the Proton Mail server failed to deliver the message because your account was unreachable. No other contact address was provided in the PKGBUILD's header, so I filed an orphan request, which was granted about a week later or so. Since you are now writing from a different address ([email protected]), and you didn't receive any of the package flags and orphan notifications until now, I suspect this might be a mail server issue on your side. Nevertheless, now that you're back online I don't mind granting your rights back, especially if you want to help fixing it. However, we'd need to further discuss the changes because I'm not entirely sure the previous PKGBUILD actually fulfilled its purpose while abiding to the AUR package guidelines. Whether I'm right or not in this last regard, I just wanted to clarify everything so as to prove that no malicious activity ever took place and that I acquired the ownership of this package through due process.
