My experience with ruby so far has been more from the side of a
sysadmin. As a developer I have basic knowledge of the language to

popular languages, except for functional programming which I really

I maintain pngcrush in AUR and thought myself to bring it to [community].
The main reason for not doing so was that we have optipng there, which does
entirely the same as pngcrush.
I didn't know about optipng, I will check into it, and since there is
already a TU behind pngcrush I will probably leave it out of the list
then.
If you become a TU feel free to decide differently than I did. My remark was
merely meant as a question to the other TUs what to do in such a case.
