xmonad-utils-darcs was the old, original one. Sadly the darcs source seems no longer maintained. So I imported it to git, and I'm now the upstream maintainer. I also made a corresponding xmonad-utils package that uses the versioned source off Hackage. Needless to say, the -darcs version isn't getting any more updates, and it doesn't currently build.
