Hmm, I still don't think so.

From the Debian package lookup, `joystick` has a newer version in debian sid, 
which seems to be the same upstream according to package description (not 
exact because there's no upstream link in the squeeze package). The new 
version is 1.4.7 and points to upstream url: 
https://sourceforge.net/projects/linuxconsole/ (Which has the exact same 
version 1.4.7 as latest version)

While the joyutils package uses this url as upstream: 
http://atrey.karlin.mff.cuni.cz/~vojtech/joystick/
The latest version is 1.2.15.
