Chazza [1] filed a request to merge emerald-git [2] into emerald0.9 [3]: Requesting that emerald-git be merged into emerald0.9. There is no difference between the code in the git branch that the emerald-git package pulls and the code in the tarball that the emerald0.9 package uses. It seems somewhat redundant to have a git package when the branch it is tracking hasn't seen any commits since October 2011 and isn't likely to see new commits anytime soon (if ever).
