I am maintainer of aur/thorium-browser-bin. Please do *not* merge the -avx2-bin package into the -bin package.
Although the -bin package supports building for x86_64_v3, there has been a class of users who demand it be the default even though doing so would be against Arch guidelines and benchmarks show no performance benefit. I would prefer that those users *not* resume spamming at the -bin package. Also, upstream thorium-browser is effectively unmaintained. There has not been a new release for five months. Users are advised to switch to a better maintained browser.
